The Square At Porthleven

Located in the heart of the village and overlooking its picturesque Cornish harbour, The Square at Porthleven is a wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy the view.
The Michelin Star and brasserie-style menu, warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere make for a perfect setting at which to enjoy a chilled lunch, a relaxed dinner or even just coffee and cake. And on warmer days, why not dine al fresco on our partially covered terrace whilst watching the boats come and go?
Kota Kai Kitchen Bar
Celtic House, The Shipyard, Porthleven, Helston TR13 9JY
Kota Kai Bar & Kitchen offers a diverse range of dishes inspired by Jude’s multiple influences. The line-up also includes more traditional menu favourites such as the ‘Kiwi Burger’ and ‘Fish and Chips’ for those who want to stick with what they know.
The Atlantic Inn
Peverell Terrace, Porthleven, Helston TR13 9DZ
The Atlantic Inn is a local family run pub in Porthleven, Cornwall. Set on a beautiful location overlooking the sea, on a clear day on our terrace you can have uninterrupted views from The Lizard to Mousehole.
We have very lively Saturday night entertainment and during the week we hold pub quizzes, bingo and darts, as our regular customers are mainly local people you can get a real sense of The Cornish.
The Mussel Shoal
Harbour Head, Celtic House, Porthleven, Helston TR13 9JY
A cafe selling mussels,squid and chowder based on the famous Muscle Shoals recording studio, where the likes of the Rolling Stones and Aretha Franklin have recorded. The Mussel Shoal provides a laid back vibe, so pop down, grab one of our blankets and enjoy the view.
The Harbourside Refuge
Mount Pleasant Rd, Porthleven, Helston TR13 9JS
Cornish heritage and gastronomic culture come together in The Harbourside Refuge by Michael Caines. With fish and shellfish landed directly on Porthleven’s harbourside, and with good things to eat and drink coming from the Cornish hinterland, Michael Caines has created a special restaurant that celebrates Cornwall and its bounty.
The Ship Inn
Mount Pleasant Rd, Porthleven, Helston TR13 9JS
The Ship Inn is a 17th century pub overlooking the harbour. Beer mats and brasses adorn ceiling and walls in this old fisherman’s haunt, whilst flagstones and floorboards lay under foot. Food is simple, well done traditional pub food – expect fish pies, steaks, mussels, crab and the catch of the day from the harbour.
