Where is the cottage?

Situated at the end of a no-through road the cottage can be found at this following address.

Just before your visit with us, we will send you an arrival e-mail with all the details you need for your stay.

When is check in and check out?

Check in is from 4pm on the day of arrival. 

Check in details will be sent to you a couple of days before your arrival

To allow time for cleaning, the property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Changeover day is Saturday.


Are short breaks available?

During off peak time (November to March) short breaks are available (minimum 3 night stay at a weekend or 4 night stay midweek).  During other times if the property is not booked short breaks are available at short notice.  A 3 or 4 night stay will be charged at 70% of the full price for the property. Are bed linen and towels provided?

We provide bed linen, bath and hand towels, tea towels but NOT beach towels.


Can I bring a pet?

We accept one dog as the property is not suitable for multiple or large dogs.

We charge £10 for your dog this is to cover additional cleaning.


Can I make changes to my booking?

If your circumstances have changed please let us know as we may be able to help by moving your holiday. 


If you would like to amend your booking then this must be done before the balance due date.  Please note any difference in the holiday cost would have to be paid with the final balance due.


What if I cancel my holiday?

In the event of a cancellation we will make every effort to re-let the cottage and in the event of being able to do this, you will receive a full refund (minus deposit).


In the event that we cannot re-let the cottage, we adopt a tiered approach for refunds as follows: 

If you cancel in the week prior to your stay you will be required to pay 100% of the cost of the holiday.

If you cancel two weeks prior to your stay you will be required to pay 85% of the cost of the holiday.

If you cancel three weeks prior to your stay you will be required to pay 60% of the cost of the holiday.

If you cancel four weeks prior to your stay you will be required to pay 40% of the cost of the holiday.

If you cancel five weeks prior to your stay you will be required to pay 30% of the cost of the holiday. 

We advise that all customers take out holiday insurance. 

All cancellations must be made via our booking system as soon as possible.

  

How do I pay?

Once you make a booking you will be sent a booking confirmation e-mail and the details to pay the deposit.

Eight weeks before your stay we will send you a further e-mail asking you to pay the final balance. 

We will then e-mail you with information of how to make payment via our bookings page.

Whilst payment via our booking system is preferred, alternative methods of payment are accepted. Please contact us directly to discuss these options. 


How many people can stay at the property?

The property sleeps 2 adults and under no circumstances can this be exceeded.


Are logs provided for the log burner?

We will provide a basket full of logs and kindling, if you require any more you will have to purchase these yourself from the local shop.
